Resources - The Easter Story
This page has some general concepts that you may find useful.
There are also some limited copyright issues, which are towards the bottom of that page here. Please do read them. They are not complex!
I also make some comments about the source of material - again please read, especially if you recognise your material! I mean no offense.
There is also an Alphabetical list of resources here
On this page you can find a number of downloads that help tell the Easter Story. This collection was put together at the start of the Coronavirus pandemic, in an attempt to maintain contact with out folk.
A small colour booklet - Easter Story. (PDF download)
This is from Lambsong They have agreed that we can use and alter the material in any way and make it available to others. Our thanks to them.
- This needs to be backed, double-sided or duplex printed, short edge or short sided binding or whatever your machine says. NOT LONG edge!
- Then once printed you will see that there are two copies per page. Simply cut the paper into two and staple them together to make the booklet
An A5 booklet - Resurrection of Jesus. (PDF download colour version, B&W version to be coloured in)
This originally came from here. Full attribution is on the back page. Thanks to the originator who allows us to use the material.
All I have done with this is shrink it into a booklet. On the original page, scroll down about three quarters of the page and look for a large graphic entitled "The resurrection of Jesus Mini book"with a blue border round it. You can download the original there, and you will end up with a somewhat small mini book. All I have done is increased the size of the pictures and turned then into an A5 booklet - easier to see and handle.
Both versions are the same except one is coloured in. The other one is for those who like to colour things for themselves.
- This needs to be backed, double-sided or duplex printed, short edge or short sided binding or whatever your machine says. NOT LONG edge!
- You will see that the pages look like they are in a muddle. They are not! If you print it out, as indicated above, you will end up with a booklet that you can staple together.
An A5 booklet - The First Easter. (PDF download)
This originally came from here. Originating page is here.
This is much more verbally complex, but may help parents or carers explain the more simple versions above!
